PROJECTS
1. Kids Against Hunger: We will package meals for Kids Against Hunger. (Last year 2023, we did 5,000 Meals)
2. Letters for the Homebound: We will write notes to the homebound and those who need encouragement
3. Summer Health Kits/Purse Ministry: We will package summer health kits to be distributed by the Street Team of the Center.
5. Neighborhood Cleanup: We will clean up in the neighborhood in the radius around St. John’s.
6. Random Acts of Kindness: We will do random acts of kindness at two local businesses.
7. Layettes Gowns and Sweaters: We will be making UMCOR Layette Gowns and Sweaters for the Midwest Mission Distribution Center. Volunteers will sew, crochet or knit, cut patterns and iron. Our goal is 12 Layette Gowns and Sweaters.
8. Loom Project: Create sleeping mats for the homeless out of recycled shopping bags.

FOR LAYETTE GOWNS & SWEATERS: Thread, fabric, Double-Fold Bias Tape, use of 4 Sewing Machines, ‘Monetary Donations’ to purchase supplies
FOR SUMMER HEALTH KITS : Small Bottles of Hand Sanitizer, Sanitizing Wipes (Baby Wipes), Trial Size Mouth Wash, Bug Spray, Sun Screen, Bottled water, Chapstick, Washcloths, Band-Aids, City Bus Tokens, Gallon Ziploc Bags
LOOM PROJECT: plastic shopping bags from the grocery stores
RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS: Cases of bottled water and Aldi grocery bags
