Good morning members and friends of St. John’s UMC!
This coming weekend worship will be on the radio again @ 9:00 on station 1420 am; We will have a link on Facebook and our website to join us at 10:00.
Scripture text: Genesis 27:1-13
Message: “Wrestling with Life—Part 2” (Pastor Jeff is preaching)
In this turbulent season, we look again at one of the families God chose to work among in Genesis. If you recall last week’s message, Jacob & Esau separated with an unresolved family dispute. Actually, Jacob ran for his life…to avoid being killed by his angry brother. He found refuge with his Uncle Laban in a nearby country. Jacob married, went into business, and had a growing family of 11 sons, when the strain of family dysfunction escalated to the point where he began to consider going back home. But going home meant he would have to face his own brother. I hope you will take the time to listen in on this message on reconciliation and forgiveness.
I invite you to join worship on Sunday at one of the times listed above.
