Message: “Red and Yellow, Black and White” (Pastor Jeff is preaching)
In this season of racial tension, conflict in many cities, and unrest in our own community we have a chance this weekend to consider how God wants us to be “color blind” when it comes to dealing with the differences of skin color and economic status. The ground before the Cross of Christ is level. No one comes to God with any advantage; skin color, financial status, good deeds. That’s not what God sees. The scripture from James challenges us in our dealings with one another. James speaks against favoritism, but we wrestle with so much more in the racism that is once again in the news.
I invite you to join worship on Sunday at one of the times listed above.
